Big night for Buckner and B-Size (Generals win 10-7) Written by Michael Kerr The Waynesboro Generals won their 2nd straight game against The Staunton Braves here at Kate Collins Field 10-7, and now have won 3 in a row against their rival. Grant Buckner had a big night going 4-5, a double and a RBI. Brandon Sizemore once again had a hot night going 3-5, 3 singles, 3 stolen bases and had 2 RBI's. Ryan Adams and Evan Webb both had 2 RBI's, and Gabriel Saade had 3 runs along with Derek Hamblen who had 2 runs. Waynesboro had a 8-0 lead up until the 5th when the Braves got it within 3 runs to make it a 8-5 game and got no closer than 3 runs. Andy Altemus got the win going 5 1/3 innings, gave up 4 runs on 5 hits, with 4 K's and 4 walks. Altemus is now (7-1) and has to be in the mix for pitcher of the year along with Adam Liberatore for Waynesboro.
