Let the coverage from the Finals begin...

Image
Sisk (left) and Sacco deep in thought... Our good buddy Jim Sacco was back at the finals covering the match for the Media General partner of The News Virginian down in Bristol, Tn. Normally I would direct you to their site but Rob Sisk has posted Jim's story on http://www.newsvirginian.com/ as well. Just another step on a path where the team of Sisk and Sacco did everything they could to make the journey for their Lady Green Hornets as remember able as possible for the team and their fans! Kudos to the both teams - the ones wearing the Green & White and the ones providing the coverage! On a personal note - Jim, I picked your Bears in Bill Meade's Pigskin Picks- What are you doing to me?

Been doing a touch of series type writing myself Today...

The Free Press is a weekly newspaper based in Woodstock, Virginia right here in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. They are short handed in the Sports department right now so I offered to bring home some coverage from Mathews and then again from Richmond. I just finished two articles (1 gamer, 1 column) and they should be available this Thursday when the newspaper is printed. You can check out some of the story from last week at http://www.shenandoahfreepress.com/ . Senior night 2008

Somehow made it back home from VCU but sadly now it is time to go work all night on getting our Washington Post delivered. I believe I have 40+ pages of notes from the past week and quite a few pics to choose from as well. Hope to get started soon! Here are a few pics to fill the gap.
