I was new to the Valley and new to the VBL a few years ago when I attended my first VBL game as a stringer/part time reporter for the Northern Virginia Daily. I wanted to learn as much as I could about the league and the players so that I could be an informed source for the NVD's readers. ____________________________________ This sent me in search of anything that I could connect with the players and the teams. Even though I lived in Luray , the NVD didn't cover Wranglers home games so I was a few games in to the season before I stumbled across a line on a bio page. The Wranglers had a young man playing short stop that was from Trinity High School in Louisville , Kentucky. ____________________________________ Trinity High School stood out to me because my brother Wayne lives there and I was familiar with the area. ODAC Tourney time : Luray's Jenny Logan and her Bridgewater team head to Salem

Bridgewater College will play their opening round game in the ODAC on Friday afternoon in the Salem Civic Center. The Lady Eagles enter the event as the #4 seed with a record of 13-7 in the ODAC and 15-10 overall. The 3:00 P.M. tip will match BC up with #5 seed Washington & Lee (14-11,13-7). LHS grad and BC freshman Jenny Logan enters the game having played in all 25 contests, including 4 starts. Logan has averaged 18 minutes a game, scoring 5.2 points while collecting 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals. Best of Luck to Ms. Logan and her Lady Eagles Thursday afternoon!
