Which side of the Mountain ⛰ 🤔 deserves more attention Tomorrow Afternoon ? App State @ James Madison or Duke @ UVA?

     ESPN's College GameDay will be live on the Campus of JMU tomorrow at 9:00 am until Noon with the Sun Belt Conference showdown between the Dukes & Appalachian State University getting started at 2pm on ESPN+.    Meanwhile, on the otherside of Afton Mountain ⛰ the Virginia Cavaliers are set to host Duke University in an Atlantic Coast Conference tilt at 3:00 pm.   In years past these two College Football games simply would not warrant a Tale of the Tape comparison but in 2023 they do.   The two stadiums sit just over 50 miles apart and the Home teams operate on different levels of FBS Football 🏈🏈🏈.   How different you ask ? James Madison sits at 10-0 heading into the contest but just lost their latest appeal to have their two year postseason ban lifted in time for a possible New Years Six Bowl invitation. James Madison University is ready to take center stage in the College Football Universe on Saturday !

ESPN will be back on the JMU Campus for a 3rd time tomorrow for its Showcase broadcast Game Day beginning at 9:00 am and the Dukes (10-0) will be hosting the Appalachin State University Mountaineers (6-4) at 2:00 pm. JMU was once again denied its appeal on the Bowl Ban that will keep the Dukes out of a possible New Years Day contest so the football game will become the only way for the Dukes to register a victory this week. App State has dropped four contests this year but its worth noting that each of the four defeats share a common thread - one score contests (6,3,3 & 7 points) that included one double OT loss at UNC as well as a last second loss to Coastal Carolina. The loss at Wyoming ended with a blocked field goal being returned for a Touchdown o give the Cowboys the victory with 2 minutes remaining while the loss at Old Dominion came with 0:48 seconds remauning.
