A Very Hot Summer

We hope all of our customers are having a fun (and safe) summer. The heat has been sweltering - don't forget to hydrate! The days are longer so don't forget to kick your feet up now and again.

Happy Father's Day to All !

We will be celebrating Father's day this year with the Strasburg Express. The fun comes after the delivery of the 4,000+ Sunday Washington Post but it will be fun just the same. First Pitch for the Valley Baseball League contest between the visiting Front Royal Cardinals and the home standing Express takes place at 6:30 p.m.               Come out and join us at First Bank Ball Park where it is Crystal Clear Delivery night !

Outer Market Price Change on Monday 6/4/12

Sadly the good folks downtown at the Post informed us that they would be increasing the cost of the daily Washington Post from $1.00 to $1.25 on Monday June 4th, 2012. This price increase is for the outer market only which includes our entire territory.        The good news is that the Washington Post Sunday edition will remain priced at $2.50.

Take some time today to reflect on the lives of all the brave men and women that have given their lives in defense of our country and to thank someone who puts their life on the line to ensure the freedoms that make this country great. Happy Memorial Day!

Agent #8636 - Randy Wertz retired from the position that his family held for nearly four decades and the Post asked us to take over the area for them. Warren County Plus is what I would call the new land as it includes Warren County, Fort Valley in Shenandoah County as well as portions of Fredrick County, Rappahannock County, Clark County & the majority of Fauquier County. This territory once belonged to four separate Agents for the Washington Post before it was combined over the past few years. The total number of Agents that covered the territory that now falls under our care is NINE. The CCD customer base nows contains thousands of names and numbers while the carrier total has risen to 24.
