Picture this: there's one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. Your team is behind 2-1 and you're on third base. Ground ball to second... what do you do? Sarah Boylan took off for home plate! The catcher blocks the plate but doesn't have the ball, yet. Sarah steps around the catcher. The catcher tries to turn and block her without the ball. They collide. The ball arrives. The ump says the one word you want to hear. Safe! Very nicely done, Sarah! Len has two very talented kids to be proud of. Thanks, Len, for sending this in! As a fellow photographer, I can tell you this is a freaking awesome shot. Very well-taken, or perhaps well-cropped, but either way, great shot!

Good Morning- It's 12:32 a.m. Monday and we are running behind!

Today is a big day for us on the newspaper end as we are training a new person for some of the work. Also pics from Saturday afternoon and Sunday night to work thru. Tonight we will celebrate with the neat ladies down in Waynesboro as they have finished their passports...
