Strasburg's Katie Baker (Bridgewater ) earns weekly Award from the ODAC


BRIDGEWATER - Freshman Katie Baker (Strasburg '08) earned a spot on the Weekly ODAC Volleyball Honor Roll for her efforts last week. The Lady Eagles played in 3 matches and Baker collected 26 kills, 9 blocks and six aces to go with her .386% hitting percentage.

BC returns home for a match this Wednesday night and travels down to Christopher Newport on Friday. Two of the three games the Lady Eagles played were down at Sweet Briar, where one set of Katie's Grandparents were able to see her play for the first time this season.

Congrats to Katie and continued success to BC !

Carroll County High School Boys Basketball is getting ready for its 2024 - 2025 season and once again the staff will be 100% Home Grown.       The team will look to replace Davis Reitzel, Jabin Talley and Noah Manning this winter but return a roster full of Seniors as they look to continue their upward projectory of the past few seasons.    Junior Varsity Head Coach Jason Stockner isn't pictured with the group but will also be returning to lead the younger Cavs along with Ryan Largen.   We did sneak in a capture of Coach Stockner alongside Assistant Principal Kristen Quesenberry.     The team has been hard at work since the end of last season and will be appearing in a Gymnasium near you before you know it !
