Tomorrow Night: Covington's Speed vs. Luray's Power for All of the Marbles in the VBL

Just got back in from Staunton and we will kick off the VBL Championship Series tomorrow night at Bulldog Field after Luray plated 2 runs in the top of the ninth inning to edge Staunton by a 6-5 score and Covington remained UN-beaten in the post season as the Lumberjacks posted a 6-0 victory at Casey Field over the top-seeded Waynesboro Generals.

The best 3 of 5 series will get under way Sunday night @ Luray based on the Wranglers being the two seed vs. the sixth seeded Lumberjacks. The focus will be can Luray's power arms and bats slow down the track like speed of Covington... Stay tuned
