Checking in with Bridgewater College Volleyball
Last Saturday the Lady Eagles returned to the campus of Emory and Henry for a second time and once again enjoyed the results. BC opened their season with a tournament down at the Hornets gym and managed to run off 4 straight wins in the event.
The return trip was for an ODAC match against a red-hot E & H (9-2) club as the host team entered the contest on an 8 game winning streak. Bridgewater was able to come away with a 3-0 (25-23,25-20,25-16) sweep to improve its mark to 7-1 (2-0 ODAC).
The Lady Eagles play a little closer to home Wednesday night when they drive the 8 miles up to Harrisonburg for a match against Eastern Mennonite University at 6:30 PM.
This Friday and Saturday the Lady Eagles will host their own tournament at Niniger Hall with matches taking place Friday night and all day Saturday
