Dateline : Strasburg Special Day for Two Special Ladies
On Wednesday July 2ND at 1:15 PM the Virginia High School All-Star Volleyball game will be played in the Freeman Center Gym on the campus of Christopher Newport University. The introductions will take place @ 1:15 and the game will start @ 2:00 PM.
Two very special young ladies will be participating in the game- Katie Baker and Kaitlin Smoot of Strasburg High School. This dynamic duo combined with their 12 Ram teammates to capture the 2007-2008 Class A State Volleyball Championship. Baker will be heading to Bridgewater College to start her freshman year of school while Smoot will be attending Virginia Tech down in Blacksburg.
We are hoping to be able to get some pictures of their big day and post them after the match. I am sure that both families will be making the trip down for the big day in Newport News. We always have time to acknowledge the rewards people in the Valley receive for a job well done!
