Less than two hours until 1ST Pitch of the post season!
7:30 PM is when all of the action is slated to get under way tonight at 4 VBL diamonds. Kate Collins Field, Steve Athey Memorial, Bulldog Field and Jim Burnett Park will be the sites of the games as all 4 home teams will look to capture the all important game 1 of the best 2 of 3 series.
Last year the #6 seeded Front Royal came into Luray and won game 1 but the Wranglers managed to rally back to capture games 2 & 3. It can be done but I am sure that all four teams would just assume to not have to go that route.
*** I will be over at Bulldog Field for the #2 vs. #7 contest between the Harrisonburg Turks and the Luray Wranglers.
***G-S-G- Mike & H-Joe will be down at Kate Collins for the #1 vs. #8 battle between Haymarket and Waynesboro.
*** I am hoping that we can contact Steve Cox (Braves G.M) for some updates on Staunton @ Winchester during the night.
