From opening tip until the final buzzer at the end of overtime, the crowd support for both schools was enough to make a sports junkie smile. Wednesday was National Signing Day for College Football Coaches all over the Country and Thursday proved to be an equally big Signing Day for Team Waynesboro . In case you missed it, Team Waynesboro is the group that will join forces to take the Waynesboro Generals of the VBL into the future. _____________________________________________ The group stands at an even dozen now that Chris Graham of the Augusta Free Press is on board with us. The number of skills that Chris brings to the table is matched only by his drive to move forward. One of the Districts that have a more difficult time compiling their standings is the Northwestern District. The NWern is spread out over Fredrick (4), Warren (2), Fauquier (Kettle Run), Shenandoah (Central) and Prince ( Brentsville ) Counties. The amount of space covered and the number of media outlets involved make it a bit more difficult to gather info. With that said, Lets take a look at the top of the District as the Girls head in to the final week of the regular season: Millbrook 14-0 The Pioneers have clinched the regular season crown and top-seed in the tourney.
