QUICKSBURG - Strasburg High School traveled down I-81 Tuesday night for a non-district VB contest with Stonewall Jackson. The proximity of Quicksburg to Bridgewater College meant bonus Rams as both Sophomore Katie Baker and Freshman Bethany Doman were in the gym to cheer on their old team. _____________________________________________ Strasburg pushed its winning streak to four matches with a 3-1 (25-16, 25-17, 15-25, 25-22) victory over an improved Generals squad. The Rams (4-1) will head even further south on Thursday night when the team travels to Shenandoah for a match with Page County High School. _____________________________________________ Doman & Baker just returned from San Antonio, Texas where the BC Lady Eagles competed in a tournament last week-end. 4TH Annual Luray Fire Department Golf Tourney- Sept. 16TH

There is still time to sign up for the 4TH edition of the Luray Fire Department Golf Tournament. This years event will once again be held at the Luray Caverns Country Club next Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. The cost this year is $85.00 per player/ $340.00 per team for the 4-man scramble. The fee includes golf,cart,prizes and a number of prizes to be raffled off at the post tourney BBQ Chicken dinner held at the Fire Hall in Luray .
