BRIDGEWATER - The last home match for Bridgewater was a thrilling one as the Lady Eagles went toe-to -toe with ODAC pre-season favorite Washington & Lee back on 9/27/08. It was a good thing that the home match made a lasting impression on the BC fans because they will have to hit the road to see the team play for the next couple of weeks.

After the W& L match, BC traveled down to Lynchburg, Va. three days later for another ODAC match. The Lynchburg College Hornets (Ms. Kritter - Rapp '08) were the host team and they pushed the Lady Eagles to four games but could not prevent the BC victory. Erika Dirnagl (Sherando) and Mandy Hill each finished the match with 12 kills and Tricia Davis collected 40 assists and 22 digs for the night. Hill lead BC with four blocks and both Dirnagl and Katie Baker (Strasburg '08) added three each.

Next on the schedule after the trip to Lynchburg is a Tuesady night match (10/7) down in Tidewater against Virginia Wesleyan. The team then heads down/over to Danville for a Friday/Saturday tournament hosted by Averett University. BC will play at 4:00 & 6:00 PM on Friday and then again at 10:00 AM & Noon on Saturday.

They finally return back to Bridgewater for a home match on 10/15 against ODAC foe Randolph Macon. Two more home dates on the BC plate are 10/22 vs. Guilford & 10/30 vs. Mary Baldwin College...

Best of Luck and safe travels for the Lady Eagles!
