Saturday Afternoon Notes & Thoughts

Greetings- It is 1:24 p.m. on Saturday and everyone is hard at work here at the home office! Linda is trying to prepare the give away items for the trip tonight to Harrisonburg for the Turks game. Rebecca is trying to finish the game night programs for the Front Royal @ Luray contest and I am trying to generate the bills that go out tonight to our Washington Post customers here in Page County.

Here is a list of the projects we are working on- The final two thoughts and pictures from Winchester, our trip to Radford for the state playoff game and last night at Rebel Park. You can also go to www.newsleader.com to check out Al Samuels coverage of the Waynesboro-Powhatan semi-final from Pulaski. The Little Giants fell short of the state title game but congrats to Jim Critzer and his team for a tremendous season!

Alleghany (Covington) did advance to the title game today (2:30 p.m.) in Class AA and we will try and report on the results..... Day 8 of 11 and we have a great deal to try and get busy with so I will get back to work. Bulldog fans- we will be running stories and tidbits on the LHS team all week and we welcome any fans of the team to join in..

See ya later...
